As you’ve probably heard me say a hundred times, I splurged exceedingly much on second hand vintage books during lockdown. I first was searching for authors I’d enjoyed reading as a child and teenager. If their books had been published with beautiful covers, that was not only a bonus but a pursuit in and of itself. As my collection grew I came across more and more colourfully or interestingly or luxuriously covered volumes in a myriad of subjects. Gardening was one such subject. Although I’m not a gardener myself from the practical side, I do love to design and plan outdoor spaces. These books I thought would bring some of the outside artistically inside too. They’re so pretty.
