I’m kind of obsessed with light and the selective lack of it. I guess most artists and photographers are to a greater or lesser degree.

I took this picture of our garden about five and a half weeks ago in the early evening and I love the way the low beginning to become more golden tinged light, casts some of the trees and plants into silhouette and diffuses others into soft translucency and rich crisp clarity. It’s just so beautiful and I want to drink it in and inhale it and let it infuse through to the centre of my being and soul.

What a great God we have who created such light and swathes it around so masterfully.
