I realise it’s not Autumn and perhaps even sillier, we are in the early weeks of Spring and so surely it would make more sense to write something crocus or daffodil related, but I feel a need to blog and must turn to what I have immediately to hand. And that happens to be this photograph of one of the most beautiful array of trees and bushes in glorious reds, oranges, yellows and pinks I have ever seen. We had gone for a family walk at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire in November last year and this lakeside view was still at that stage so gloriously hued. Sadly I don’t know the name of these trees but if anyone can enlighten me I would be delighted to know! I particularly love the way the trees are vibrantly reflected in the water, glass like in it’s showcasing these clusters of scarlet, rusted oranges and reds, raspberry pink and yellow ochres – absolutely stunning.
